The UK's biggest modern pop-culture event is coming back for another astonishing tour around UK.
London MCM ComicCon will be held at ExCel London venue.
You will be able to Meet special guests from the world of TV and film, voice actors and more, while exploring the Comic Village packed with artists, writers and graphic novels; watch on-stage panels, play the latest games and check out the colourful costumes in the Cosplay Masquerade.
It’s big. It’s busy. It’s a big geeky day out! You are allowed to take food and drink into Excel and I recommend that you do. The prices are high and the queues at rush hours (Saturdays 12pm-2pm) can be up to an hour at the franchise outlets which include Subway, Upper Crust, River Cottage Deli and more.
Take lots of cash. The cashmachines has tendancy to break down and you dont want to spend half day waiting in line for cash. Some vendors take credit cards, but many don’t. All the in-house food outlets accept cards.
There is a lot of cosplay at MCM, from made at the last minute to a very detailed work. Everyone’s here to have fun – there are naturally rules to what is allowed, check the site for most recent guidelines to avoid disapointment.
There is a cosplay masquerade on both Saturday and Sunday on the main stage – you need to register in advance to if you are willing to participate, however spectators can come and watch free of charge without registering.
If the worst happens and something breaks, there is a cosplay team on hand with glue guns, irons, sewing kits, to fix you up, that is really great thing to have on hand if you are having unexpected.
